Grand opening of Fired Up Hearth and Grill in Hermantown
On April 26th, there was a grand opening of a new business in Hermantown, Fired Up Hearth and Grill. They feature higher-end grills, smokers and fireplaces along with additional barbecue supplies.
Warren Nelson, a part-owner of Fired Up Hearth and Grill, said they’re ‘fired up’ to get people grilling soon this spring. There were also demonstrations of the grills they sold providing lunch at the grand opening.
“We’re going to have some of our vendors here this weekend,” Nelson said. “They’re going to be doing some grilling and you’ll be able to sample some different foods. Then every day this week we also are going to be open.”
Fired Up Hearth and Grill also provide fireplace and chimney inspections. Nelson also said folks should consider getting their fireplace looked at now that we’re done with winter.
“Now is actually a good time to get your fireplace and chimneys inspected. The reason for that is that typically in the fall you have a lot more demand,” Nelson said. “People are last minute remembering to get this done. What we can run into is a backlog where we can’t get to you.”
