Two systems bring rounds of accumulating rain this weekend. A few storms on Saturday morning may become strong too severe in portions of northwest WI. However, this appears to be pushing farther to the southeast. This first wave will last until late Saturday afternoon to early evening. We will then get a brief break until the second wave arrives Sunday morning.

Sunday will be much cooler as winds come screaming i out of the east 20-30 mph with gust over 40 mph at times. Don’t be surprised if we see a wind advisory issued Sunday for these conditions. Sunday into Monday will also bring in heavier rain than the first wave. Sunday’s rain could lead to localized flooding. This will mainly be in low lying valley area, culverts, and ditches. Rain looks to continue through Monday afternoon, but we may see some lingering rain into Tuesday.

Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 7pm. Low around 42. Breezy, with an east wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
SATURDAY
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then a chance of showers. High near 53. Breezy, with an east wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
SUNDAY
Showers, mainly after 1pm. High near 39. Windy, with an east wind 20 to 25 mph increasing to 25 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.
MONDAY
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then a chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. Breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
TUESDAY
A chance of showers after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 62. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
