Name of Hibbing woman killed in crash on Hwy 73 released

The State Patrol is investigating a one vehicle fatal crash from Thursday evening. The Minnesota State Patrol said 30-year-old Jenna Kay Marie Schweiss of Hibbing was killed in the accident.

According to the crash report, Schweiss was traveling north in an SUV on Highway 73 at Gilboe Road in the Janette Lake area of St. Louis County when she ran off the road and struck the guard rail. Authorities say Schweiss was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The accident happened just after 7 pm Thursday south of Hibbing on Highway 73.
