UMD baseball has announced their new captains for next season and a young group has been called on to lead UMD.

Just one senior, Ethan Cole, will lead the Bulldogs, as well as three juniors; Michael Gabbard, Gabe Richardson, and Henry Wilkinson.

Wilkinson led the way for the UMD pitching staff with 54 innings of solid work this year, while Cole, Gabbard, and Richardson could all be found towards the top of UMD’s statistics, with Richardson actually leading the Bulldogs in average and Cole tied for first in home runs.

The Bulldogs finished 18-31 this season.
