Duluth Marshall baseball narrowly secures comeback victory over Hermantown
On Wednesday the Duluth Marshall baseball team narrowly secured victory over Hermantown earning the 3-2 comeback win at Wade Stadium.
The Hawks would score twice right away in the top of the first with River Freeman and Jimmy Bartsch each driving in one run. The Hilltoppers wouldn’t respond until the bottom of the third, when Max Berrisford brought in Carter Boos to start their scoring. Boos would tally the win in relief.
Duluth Marshall earns their sixth straight win to improve to 10-2 overall on the season. Next they’re scheduled to visit Blake for a doubleheader in Minneapolis Saturday at Noon and 3 p.m.
Hermantown (5-5) is next scheduled to face Chisago Lakes Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Mettner Field in Cloquet.
