Justin Liles: A few showers early Saturday, then a great weekend
Some isolated showers are possible by sunrise Saturday morning. Most of the rain looks to fall between the 5-7am timeframe followed by a break before a little drizzle is possible by mid-day. Temperatures are expected to climb in the low to mid 70s all over. Northern Wisconsin and east central Minnesota will likely see temperatures climbing into the 80s.
With all the daytime heating taking place there is a good chance we could see some late afternoon to evening thunderstorms pop up in the Arrowhead and northern Wisconsin. It will be breezy too with winds out of the southwest at 10-20 mph.
If you are participating in many of the outdoor activities this weekend from runs, walks, garage sales, the Duluth Airshow, or even Festiversary at Bent Paddle it will be nice outside. Our beautiful skies will spill over into Sunday before rain returns the majority of next week.
