Justin Liles: Heavy rain, flooding, hail, and damaging winds Tuesday-Wednesday
Mostly cloudy skies will prevail through Wednesday as a second area of low pressure moves through the region and brings high chances for rainfall for all areas Tuesday into Wednesday. All areas are likely going to see at least an inch of rainfall through Wednesday afternoon. A good portion of the Northland is under a Flood Watch from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning. As much as 1-3” is likely all over with some areas seeing even more farther west toward Bemidji.
This storm system will also bring strong and gusty northeast winds on Tuesday, with gusts of 20 to 30 mph. The winds back into the north Tuesday night and then around to the northwest Wednesday, with winds remaining strong into Wednesday before finally diminishing Wednesday night into Thursday. Severe storms may accompany these winds Tuesday night into Wednesday through Northern Wisconsin. The threat of large hail, damaging winds, flooding, and isolated tornadoes are possible. More light rain arrives by the weekend.

TUESDAY
Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Patchy fog before 10am. High near 58. Breezy, with an east wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
