Four Minnesota kids heading to the SCRIPPS National Spelling Bee quarter finals

Four Minnesota kids from across the state made it to the SCRIPPS national Spelling Bee quarter finals Wednesday May 29th.

The students are: 14-year-old Yupeng Chen from Duluth, 13-year-old Jaden Go from East Grand Forks, 13-year-old William Rausch from Royalton, and 11-year-old Kai Riedner from Excelsior.

One Minnesota student, William Raush, made it all the way to the semi-finals.

The quarterfinals and semifinals are Wednesday May 29th and the finals are Thursday May 30th.
