Justin Liles: Lake breeze takes over Thursday
The area of high pressure responsible for all of our wonderful weather this week will begin its transition east Thursday. This will create winds off the lake and make shoreline communities much cooler than farther inland. Mid to upper 60s are likely right by the lake and downtown Duluth.
A ridge of warmer air over the Rockies is likely going to remain in place over the weekend and into the middle of next week. The overall pattern will create a chance for light rain and thunderstorms beginning Saturday evening. Chances will likely be small for rain through the middle of next week. Temperatures will likely be staying in the low 70s due to a persistent lake breeze.
