Trailer Park Musical promises a good laugh
Boat Club Productions is putting on the Great American Trailer Park Musical in the Spirit of the North Theatre.
Boat Club Productions’ The Great American Trailer Park Musical promises a good laugh. It’s playing Friday through Sunday, June 16 at the Spirit of the North Theatre on the Third Floor of the Fitger’s Complex.
Music and lyrics are written by David Nehls. The books is written by Betsy Kelso.
The story, set in a trailer park as you may have guessed, centers around a love triangle among an agoraphobe, a highway toll collectior and an exocitc dancer with an unhinged ex-boyfriend.
Beyond the Jerry Springer-worthy confrontations, the show is about rising above our impulses, our mistakes, and our surroundings to make a future we can believe in despite the past.
Boat Club Production warns that the show may not be suitable for all ages.
