Residents of Hibbing encouraged to be part of the 2nd Annual Community Cleanup Day
Another chance to help clean up the city of Hibbing. The 2nd Annual Community Cleanup Day is here.
Deputy Chief Tyler Schwerzler explained more about why they are bringing it back.
“Last year we collected 35 tons of items. It was also successful when it came to volunteers, and getting blighted areas looking better,” he shared.
This is open to residents of Hibbing only, and it is free.
The cleanup is Friday and Saturday, 8am-4pm. Bring your old furniture and refrigerators to Stuntz Garage: 1100 E 25th Street, Hibbing
Do NOT bring: Hazardous waste, paint, fire extinguishers, light bulbs, batteries, oil, asbestos, and construction demo.
