Superior Fire Department respond to a 4-plex structure fire

The Superior Fire Department responded to a Structure fire at 3pm Thursday June 6th. Fire crews arrived at two story residential 4-plex with smoke and fire coming from a bedroom in one of the units.

Fire crews entered the burning bedroom, quickly extinguishing the flames before it could spread to other neighboring units.

Superior Firefighters quickly searched the remainder of the building. They confirmed that all occupants were out of the burning structure.

However, one other unit had slight smoke damage from the structure fire, the cause of how it started is under investigation.

The Red Cross is providing assistance to the residents impacted by structure fire while they are displaced. All three on-duty engine companies worked to extinguish the flames. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries.
