I-35 pavement work between Willow River and Sturgeon Lake starts June 10
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) will begin a pavement preservation project on I-35 on Monday, June 10. The work will occur between Willow River and Sturgeon Lake.
MnDOT officials said drivers can expect daytime lane closures for both northbound and southbound lanes.
“This work is a microsurfacing project designed to extend the life of bituminous pavement,” explained a release from MnDOT. “Temporary striping will be installed when work occurs, and permanent striping will be placed in approximately three weeks.”
Initial work is expected to end on Friday, June 14.
