Duluth to host the 2025 Men's & Women's Curling National Championships

A huge tournament is coming to Duluth in the winter.

USA Curling announced on Thursday that the DECC will host the 2025 Men’s and Women’s National Championships. They’re set to take place January 27 through February 2.

This will mark the first time the National Championships will be held in Minnesota since the Hibbing Curling Club did in 2008.

Team Shuster has already secured a berth in the men’s championships, along with Team Wendling, the winner of the 2025 Junior Men’s Nationals. Team Peterson has secured a berth in the women’s championship, along with 2024 Junior Women’s national champion Team Giroux.

The remaining berths will be filled based on World Curling Team rankings and results at the St. Paul Cash Spiel (October 18-20, 2024), this year’s National Championship qualifier bonspiel.

Winners of the National Championships advance to the World Championships, and will get the opportunity to snag a spot in the Olympic Trials.
