Lea Zmurko: A sunny start to the week
It will be a bright day to start our work week. Temperatures will be near 70 degrees by the afternoon hours. It will be cooler by the lake with a southeast wind shift keeping a breeze throughout the day. A cloudless sky through the overnight will cause for temperatures to drop quickly. Many low-lying areas in the Northland are under frost advisories for Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Chances for rain and thunderstorms will return by Tuesday afternoon and will stick around into Wednesday evening. Temperatures are on the rise and forecasted to reach the upper 70s over the next few days. This will also bring back an active weather pattern with isolated showers and thunderstorms passing in the late afternoon and evening hours.
