The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal accident Sunday evening in the Township of Parkland. Two people were killed.
According to Sheriff Matt Izzard, deputies responded to a call regarding a motorcycle vs. car crash just after 7 p.m. at County Highway E and Orchard Drive in the Township of Parkland. The accident was just east of South Range, Wis.
According to authorities, a 23-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman on the motorcycle died at the scene. Both were wearing helmets. Sheriff Izzard says both vehicles were traveling southbound.
There is no word on the driver of the car’s condition. Names of the victims have not yet been released.
