A weekend of fun at the Minnesota Quilt Show
For the first time in several years, the Minnesota Quilt Show returned to Duluth with a weekend takeover of all things quilting.
At the show more than 600 quilts were on display from guilds across the stat. Along with local vendors, quilting workshops, judged quilts, and you could try out sewing your own block for a good cause.
Helen Smith Stone was also named Minnesota Quilter of the Year! Her craftsmanship and her compassion for other quilters earned her the title. Helen says she was totally shocked when she got the call.

Not only were there quilters in the Northland in attendance, but hundreds of quilters made their way out to the Minnesota Quilt Show. Next year the show is set to be hosted in St. Cloud. But folks here in the Twin Ports are crossing their fingers it comes back to the DECC soon.
