Bus carrying 17 people goes off road, crashes in Bayfield County

The Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office reports that a coach motor bus carrying 17 passengers went off road in the Town of Delta and crashed into a tree around 11:15 a.m. on Friday, June 28. The bus was traveling along Camp One Road.
One person was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and the bus driver was treated and released at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Iron River EMS, and the Iron River Fire Department responded to the scene.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
