Police Presence: Training event scheduled in Cloquet

The Cloquet Police Department is holding an Active Shooter Response law enforcement training event beginning on Thursday, July 11. According to the CPD, the event will be held at the Cloquet High School.
Organizers want the public to be aware that there will be a large police presence and community members may hear loud sounds, sirens and yelling during training. There will also be emergency lights and some officers may display firearms in and around the school.
The training will last until 6:00 p.m. Training dates include:
- Thursday, July 11
- Monday, July 15
- Tuesday, July 16
- Thursday, July 18
Again, the public should be aware that this is a planned training event happening at the Cloquet High School, 101 14th Street.
