MIB’s Chris King to UMD football, Northwestern’s Boden Teal to Dordt University
A duo of Northland gridiron talents have announced their collegiate commitments.
Mountain Iron-Buhl tackle Chris King shared on X that he will stay local joining the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team. A junior last fall, he recorded 69 total tackles with 41 solo tackles. King also had nine sacks, three fumble recoveries and four forced fumbles. He also added a receiving touchdown on offense.
Out of Maple, Wisconsin, Northwestern’s Boden Teal is off to play football at Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa. A utility man he played wide receiver, running back and defensive back for the Tigers. A junior last fall, he recorded 664 rushing yards with five touchdowns, and 766 receiving yards with 11 touchdowns. Defensively, Teal made 29 total tackles and four interceptions.
