Justin Liles: Cooling off and drier
After a hot, humid, and hazy weekend we’re going to finally be cooling off and have drier conditions. Temperatures a going to drop into the low 70s over the next 48 hours. Tuesday features dry conditions mainly in the Brainerd Lakes, east- central Minnesota over much of northwest Wisconsin while general thunderstorms and showers occur along and north of US Hwy 2 in far northern Minnesota.
These showers should be fairly limited to the midday to mid-evening hours tomorrow with only highly localized amounts up to one-quarter inch. No rainfall is forecast Wednesday through Saturday morning as temperatures climb a little. By the end of the week temperatures will climb back to near 80°F.
