One man in custody following early morning stabbing in Duluth
Duluth police say a 29-year-old man was injured and a 30-year-old Duluth resident is in custody following a early morning stabbing in the 200 block of East Superior Street in Duluth. According to the report, police responded to a stabbing at 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16. When authorities arrived, they located a the man with a stab wound to the neck.
Following the initial investigation, authorities say the victim and the suspect where hanging out prior to the altercation. The report says the suspect stabbed the victim in the neck and then fled the scene on foot. The suspect is facing charges of 1st Degree Assault.
The injured man was transported to a local hospital and his condition is listed as stable.
