Siiviis Gallery acting as a hub for Duluth artists

Siiviis Gallery is a hub for Duluth artists

Siiviis Gallery is a hub for 80 local artists to display their work with a North Shore aesthetic.

Located in Canal Park, Siiviis Gallery features art from 80 different local artists. Most of which attended art fairs across the Northland.

The gallery cycles through the seasons, right now they are getting ready for fall, and it’s important that they have fresh new art up all year round. It’s not only for the tourists, it’s also for the Duluth community to check out amazing pieces made in the Twin Ports.

Artists say having a spot at the gallery is big for their businesses. Especially since shopping in person is sometimes better than shopping for art online. Aaron Kloss who is a fine artist says, “I think it really matters that people can walk right up to a work and see it and many times even touch it. People are really tactile. They want to feel the art, they want to see the art in person.”

The Bayfront Art fair is coming up on August 17th and 18th where you can find several of Duluth artists.

“With Bayfront art fair and Park Point art fair, I would say probably 50% of our artists participate in at least one of those, if not all of them. And it’s been really fun to see different pop ups,” says gallery curator Amanda Clark.
