The Lake Superior Zoo offers ways to get up close and personal with its two otters, Logan and Brule.

There’s a tour that takes you behind the scenes. You go behind the otter exhibit to where the zookeepers work to feed them. The experience is also available for the bears, red panda, wolves, cougars, kune kune pigs, or barn animals. More details are available on the zoo’s website.

There are also daily opportunities to feed the otters. You and your kids can throw some fish in from the outside of the exhibit at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily. Logan and Brule get really excited to be fed- as do the other animals.
