Spirit Valley Days parade marches down Grand Avenue

Spectators lined Grand Avenue to see the 23rd annual Spirit Valley Days parade on Thursday August 1st. The parade kicked off at 6pm on 59th and Grand Avenue and marched down Grand Avenue turning at Central Avenue onto Ramsay Street.

Miss West Duluth marched in the parade along with local businesses, local officials, and non-profits.

The parade was a part of Spirit Valley Days which is hosting a series of events in Duluth from August 1st to August 3rd.

Events include a car show on Friday on Grand Avenue, a craft and vendor fair on Saturday on Grand Avenue, and a two-day music festival Friday and Saturday behind Mr. D’s. All events feature local talent and food trucks.
