Duluth Fire Department extinguishes garage fire on Wallace Avenue

The Duluth Fire Department was dispatched to a garage fire on the 1800 Block of Wallace Avenue at 2:49 p.m. on Thursday, August 1. The dispatched firefighters were able to put the fire out.

Kelli Latuska, the Public Information Officer with the City of Duluth said the fire was limited to the exterior of the garage and caused approximately $1000 in damages.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
