Justin Liles: A hot Friday and comfortable by Sunday

We are on the verge of another weekend when there is going to be plenty of things to do around the Northland. We have everything from the “Five Best Days of Summer,” at the Northern St. Louis County Fair in Chisholm. Let’s not forget the Lumber Jack Championships in Hayward, Wisconsin this weekend and the Head of the Lakes Fair in Superior. Heat and humidity return for Friday, with high temperatures in the mid-80s to low 90s. Humidity will be a touch lower but, it won’t matter with temperatures this warm. Saturday will be another warmer day.

A cold front is set to roll through Saturday evening and spark off a few thunderstorms. Sunday looks to be the most comfortable day of the weekend. Temperatures will be the mid-70s. This trend continues into the new work week.
