Hundreds of machines were on display at the DECC convention center for the Vintage Snowmobile National Show.

Now in its 19^th year, Duluth was chosen to host this annual traveling event.

Snowmobiles dating from the 1950s up to the present day were on display, along with a swap meet for visitors to explore. Also on display was vintage snowmobile gear, as well as camping equipment.

Many of the displayed machines were being judged – with categories based on criteria such as year and type of sled.

While many of the sleds were made by companies that are still recognizable today, such as Polaris or Bombardier, others were more obscure – brands like Chrysler or John Deere – not known for sled production.

The event runs through Sunday August 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tickets are free for kids, and $10 for those 15 and older.
