Virginia Police release details on Sunday’s evacuation at Target

Virginia Police have released a statement regarding an evacuation of staff and customers at Target that happened over the weekend.

Sunday at around 8:50, the Virginia Police Department received a call of a bomb threat which caused the store to be evacuated as a precautionary measure.

After the incident the police confirmed this to not be a legitimate threat to the Target, and later they located the caller who admitted the noncredible threat was a hoax.

The City of Virginia thanks the Saint Louis County Sheriff’s Department and Duluth Police Department for their assistance. The incident is still under investigation.
