Lea Zmurko: Another round of rain and then continuing to cool off
Starting off Wednesday morning with some overcast skies across northern Minnesota. The morning will start off cloudy as widespread showers move in by the afternoon lasting overnight. This is a slow-moving system as it treks eastward over the course of the day.
Some isolated thunderstorms are possible along with moderate to heavy rainfall, but severe weather and flash flooding is not expected.
Temperatures for today are starting out cool and will be in the low seventies by the afternoon. After the rain clears tomorrow morning, conditions will continue to remain below or near normal temperatures this week. Tomorrow’s highs will be in the 60s for many, especially along the Arrowhead. There is still a slight chance for a few more scattered showers to linger on Friday especially further north near the Borderlands.
Temperatures will return to normal with more sunshine present for the weekend.
