Pet of the Week: Bennet

Pet of the Week: Bennet

Bennet is Good Morning Northland's Pet of the Week with Animal Allies. This super sweet and chill dog is looking for a loving home. If you would like more information on Bennet, you can head to the GMN page of WDIO.com

Bennet is an 8-year-old pup looking for a loving home to call their own. Bennet has been at the shelter since July 12th.

This chill, relaxed older fella loves nothing more than exploring new areas and greeting human friends. Bennet found their way to the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about their background. They’ve met another calm and relaxed dog at the shelter and didn’t mind the company, though a high-energy, rowdy dog might irritate Bennet. Staff is unsure how Bennet behaves around cats. Bennet knows how to sit and is very sweet. When first meeting someone, Bennet will give a few initial sniffs before wandering off, but will happily come over with tail wags and kisses if called.

Bennet’s ideal home would be semi-active but mostly calm and laid-back. A chaotic household might not suit Bennet, so a home with older children and/or a calmer dog would likely be a better fit.
