Cenovus Superior Refinery to conduct emergency response training

Cenovus Superior Refinery will conduct an emergency response training exercise on August 9 starting at 10:00 a.m. The public may hear Shelter-In-Place sirens and audible announcements during the exercise.

Cenovus officials want the public to know this is an exercise and for training purposes only.

Officials also note that conversations relating to the drill may also be heard over traffic scanners.
