Lea Zmurko: Starting the week with sunshine
A bright sunny day ahead with temperatures in the upper seventies and low eighties by the afternoon. With clear skies through out he day and evening, overnight lows will drop into the mid fifties for many. Giving the Northland plenty of clear skies for meteor shower viewing opportunities!
On Monday and Tuesday there is a small chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and early evening passing across the Iron Range and north up the Arrowhead. There is a greater chance of widespread rain and storms for Wednesday evening and Thursday this week.
Temperatures will take a short dip in the low 70s following the rain before making it back up to normal conditions by early next week
