Sex offender set for release in Superior

The Superior Police Department has notified the public that a sex offender is being released on August 20. Devon C. Frank, 24, was convicted in June 2020 for one count of 2nd degree sexual assault and one count of burglary.

Frank’s residence is on the 1600 block of N 16th Street in Superior.

Frank will remain under supervision by local probation agents until August of 2031.

Frank has served his sentence and is transitioning into the community.

With the passage of the Community Notification Act law enforcement may now share information about many of these individuals with the public. Abuse of this information to threaten, harass or intimidate a registered individual is unacceptable and such acts could be charged as a crime. Such abuses could potentially end the ability of law enforcement to provide these notifications.
