2 injured in Duluth overnight shooting

Duluth Police responded to a shooting just after 2 a.m. on Saturday, August 24 at the 100 block of East 3rd Street.
The scene of the shooting was reported as “chaotic”. First responders arrived on scene to find two victims: a 56-year-old man and a 29-year-old man. Both received gunshot wounds, the older man to the chest, and the younger to the lower abdomen.
According to the DPD, both men were transported to the hospital, the 56-year-old remains hospitalized for treatment – the 29-year-old was treated and released.
Duluth Police are still currently investigating the shooting.
