Suspect in custody after early morning gunshots in Eveleth

Monday morning at approximately 6:16AM, the Eveleth Police Department responded to 413 Grant Avenue in Eveleth after a caller reported someone shooting at them before fleeing the scene. Multiple agencies responded to the scene, recovering several shell casings outside on the street and sidewalk. Several bullet holes were also found in the front door of the building.

Shortly after a suspect was taken into custody. The investigation is still ongoing and active, and the Eveleth Police Department states there is no danger to the public.
