GoFundMe set up for Kelliher woman burned in campfire explosion

A Kelliher woman remains in the hospital after a campfire explosion on the Range over Labor Day weekend.

Melissa Krogseng, 54, is expected to have surgery on Wednesday. The good news, according to her GoFundMe page, is that she is now out of the ICU and in the burn unit.

Krogseng and others had gathered for the holiday weekend when authorities said someone lit the campfire with an unknown flammable liquid.

Her daughters said she knew to extinguish herself by rolling.

One man died in the incident.
