Crank & Dasher Ice Cream has brought their ice cream flavors over to the Lakeside neighborhood, opening a new spot right on East Superior Street.

Owner Annie Carmichael says that it’s been her dream to have a full season storefront ever since they opened their Fitger’s location back in 2020.

With 10+ flavors, Annie says she’s proud of how their ice cream is made. “We try to get as many locally sourced and regionally sourced items to put into our ice cream,” she says, “and we don’t use food coloring. So we’re very proud of our label. We try to keep it as clean as possible so that there’s no fake stuff in it.”

Annie says its also been fun to design the interior and exterior of her store. Putting her spin on a Parisian cafe. “Lots of color and just fun things. Fun new flavors always coming around. And shakes, malts, we’re going to expand our menu,” says Annie.
