Pedestrian struck by vehicle near Kinney

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s office around 5pm on Thursday September 5th first responders and law enforcement were sent to reports of a male lying in a ditch on the 5300 block of Hwy 25, near Kinney.

The victim, a 26-year-old male, was determined by authorities to have been struck by a vehicle which had left the scene.

The victim was airlifted to receive treatment for serious injuries.

An investigation into the incident by the St Louis County Sheriff’s office and Minnesota State Patrol is ongoing.
