Duluth Parks and Rec. offering a trip to Chanhassen to see ‘White Christmas’
The Duluth Parks and Recreation department is offering a trip down to Chanhassen Dinner Theatres to see their upcoming production of ‘White Christmas’ on November 6th.
This trip is one that the Parks and Rec. team continue to do with CDT. “I think people just appreciate getting out of town, you know they don’t have to drive, it’s really nice for people who aren’t comfortable driving down to the Cities,” says Programming Director Claire Hoffman, “Chanhassen Dinner Theatres trips are always really popular because they always put on a good production and a great show.”
To register you can call 218-730-4310, email parks@duluthmn.gov, or visit their website.
The folks at Chanhassen are excited to see everyone from Duluth that come to visit. Vice President of CDT, Tamara Kanga-Erickson says, “You’ll walk in the front door and you’ll feel like you’re right at home.”
“Experiences with the family, people are really moving to that and we are just set up for that,” She goes on to say.
The Chanhassen Dinner Theatres also has a plethora of Duluth connections. Many of their actors or people backstage have either lived in the Duluth area, have gone to UMD, or have performed at the Duluth Playhouse.
Tamara says, “I mean we really are a theatre hub here nationally, really next to Chicago so we get a lot of incredible talent.”
