Friday night lights are turning on across the Northland. WDIO Sports will have the best highlights and all the scores from our local high school football games during Prep Sports Extra Fridays at 10:25 p.m.

Cloquet held the grand opening of their new stadium by hosting and beating Duluth East, 47-22. Esko logged their first home victory of the season, beating Mora 27-14. In battles of unbeatens, Pequot Lakes visited Two Harbors and beat the Agates 35-14, while International Falls and Mesabi East also put their undefeated records to the test, with International Falls prevailing, 34-26. In Superior, the Spartans “Tackle Cancer” night was spoiled by Eau Claire North 42-19.

On Thursday, Duluth Denfeld defeated Pine City 56-0 and Moose Lake/Willow River downed Crosby-Ironton 38-20. For those highlights, Click here.
