Sweetly Kismet Candy Store in Carlton is hosting a Hot Air Balloon Festival at the store in Carlton. The two-day festival started Friday and continues Saturday.

The festival includes food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, a ventriloquist, hayrides, and a pilot meet and greet. There are also hot air balloon tethered rides for $20 per person and a glow display after dark.

Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for seniors and kids three and over, and free for kids two and under. Gates open at 4 pm and stay open until after the night glow display.

Hot air balloons are weather-dependent. Balloons will be displayed, tethered, and fly if surface and upper winds are under 6 mph.
