Singing Slovenes entertain at Oktoberfest in Duluth, head to Eveleth next

"A Night in Slovenia" is coming up on Saturday at the Eveleth Auditorium. It's from 5-9pm.

“A Night in Slovenia” is coming up on Saturday at the Eveleth Auditorium. It’s from 5-9pm, and is being put on by the KSKJ Lodges. Tickets are $15, and it includes a dinner as well. Kids 12 and under are free.

KSKJ is a Catholic Slovenian union, and was started to protect families of Slovenian immigrants who worked in the steel mills.

The Singing Slovenes will be performing at the event. And joining them will be Button Box sensation Gasper Krek, who is from Slovenia.

People at Oktoberfest in Duluth had the chance to hear some of their talents this past weekend.
