Golfing for Downtown Duluth to keep Outreach Specialist
It was a warm fall day for golfers at Ridgeview Country Club’s September Slam. The event raised funds for Downtown Duluth to keep their Outreach Specialist.
Nathan Kesti currently holds the position. He puts on about 8 miles a day connecting people with the resources they need.
Downtown Duluth is losing grant funding for the position. President of Downtown Duluth Kristi Stokes explained, “We have been working tirelessly to find some additional grant dollars, and we’re short.”
She called Monday’s show of support inspiring.
Businesses sponsored each hole of the course. Downtown Duluth is looking towards the community for additional support.
