Northland Adaptive Recreation Shoot for Fun event raises over $138,000
Northland Adaptive Recreation celebrated raising $138,518.47 with their Shoot for Fun event with a check presentation on Tuesday September 17th. The check was presented by Kolar Chevrolet.
Their 26th annual Shoot for Fun broke records with 1,400 volunteer hours and 555 shooters participating.
Northland Adaptive Recreation is an organization aimed at creating active programs like kayaking and skiing for people with disabilities
“We had five high school trap teams participate this year, “said Northland Adaptive Recreation manager Eric Larson. “We’ve got multiple generations of folks showing up in support of adaptive recreation here in our northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin community. Having done it for 26 years and continuing to see a trajectory on the incline says a lot about how the shooting sports support adaptive recreation.”
