Lester River Rendezvous lets you travel back in time

Duluth, be prepared to go back to the past at the 25th Lester River Rendezvous and experience the time of fur traders, explorers, and native communities. Joining GMN, Committee Chair member Lindsey Whitlinger tells us what to expect at the upcoming festival.

The 25th annual Lester River Rendezvous is coming up on September 28th at Lester Park! If you have ever wondered what life was like for our ancestors who lived in the Northland during the 1700’s, this is just the event for you.

Committee chair, Lindsey Whitlinger, says that there are over 50 craft and food vendors along with pony rides and a petting zoo. There you will learn what fur trading, farming and business looked like in the 18th and 19th centuries.
