Man dies after crashing into laundromat
A man died after his pickup crashed into a Carlton laundromat Wednesday evening. He has been identified as 48 year old, Adam Forsythe of Grand Lake Township.
The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office says Forsyth was traveling east on Highway 210 when his car left the road and hit Carlton Laundry at 8:28 p.m.
Deputies attempted life-saving measures at the scene. Cloquet Area Fire District Ambulance took him to Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet where he was pronounced dead.
People were inside the laundromat at the time, but no one was hurt. A press release said Carlton Laundry “sustained heavy damage.”
The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office says impairment may have been a factor. The crash is under investigation.
