Superior native Paige Johnson commits to UMD

On Tuesday, Superior’s own Paige Johnson announced her commitment to play for UMD softball for the 2026 season.
The Spartan senior took home a Wisconsin Division I All-State Honorable mention after earning a .521 batting average in the 2024 season. She also tallies eight home runs and 31 RBI’s.
Johnson racked in a fielding percentage of .990 as a catcher and third baseman.
