Tornadoes rumble through the Northland Thursday evening

An active weather night on Thursday.

A St. Louis County Sheriff’s deputy reported that a tornado touched down north of Canyon.

Also, authorities confirmed a touchdown off Bug Creek Road east of Cotton. You could see some trees were shorn off. It’s a remote area, according to authorities.

Then another funnel-like cloud spotted in the Esko area. People in that area reported the tornado sirens went off.
