The UMD women’s hockey team will have new stamps in their passports next season.

The team has been chosen for the Belfast Friendship Series, set for January 2026.

It will be the first NCAA Division I women’s hockey tournament to take place outside of North America.

The Bulldogs will be joined by Harvard, Boston University, and Quinnipiac in Northern Ireland.

The tournament aims to promote education, social welfare, and community interaction.
